White Water Fury is a thriller about four young men whose lives are irrevocably changed when a white-water canoeing trip on the river Kalix ends with a mysterious disappearance. The film tells the story of four friends; Lukas, Simon, Anders and John. Lukas and Simon are brothers and sons of Åke, a building contractor in a small-town community in northern Sweden. Anders and John are former classmates.Every summer the four friends paddle down the river Kalix, a tradition that is spiced up when they meet two sisters from Stockholm; Marie and Susanne. As the two sisters find the stream too dangerous to navigate, the four friends decide to pitch camp on the riverbank and party with them. After a wild night of heavy drinking, they wake up to find the younger of the two sisters, Susanne, missing without a trace.
