北京市第五十五中学

北京五十五中学于1954年建校，是一所市重点中学，校址在东直门外新中街12号（工体北侧），乘地铁东四十条下车，乘公共汽车、电车113、115、118、412、416路中街站下车。 五十五中学在教育、教学过程中不断改革、探索，并取得了优异的成绩，学校先后被评为全国首批“现代化教育技术实验学校”、“北京市德育先进校”、“北京市科技活动示范校”、“北京市实验教学普及先进单位”、 “北京市校园建设示范校”，中国第一所“国际文凭学校”。 学校分中国学生部和国际学生部。中国学生部32个教学班，国际学生部14个教学班，中外学生1700多人。校园建筑面积20000平方米，三座教学楼，一座双层体育馆（一层体操馆，二层篮球馆），一座能容纳1000人的礼堂和一座能容纳300人的阶梯教室。学校建立了现代化多功能教室和586计算机房，操场全部铺上了塑胶，为中外学生创造了舒适优雅的学习环境与活动空间。从今年起我校将进行北京市示范校改造工程，改造后的五十五中学，校园面积增加到50亩，新建的教学楼、实验楼、图书馆以及400米跑道的操场，将更符合现代化教学要求。

学校拥有一支优秀的教师队伍，其中特、高级教师57人，一级教师56人，有一批模范教师和在区、市乃至全国有影响的学科带头人，曾获全国和北京市奖励的校领导和教师有27人。学校强调德、智、体、美全面发展，教书育人，不断提高教学质量。教师治学严谨，教科研蔚然成风，在教学过程中重视打好基础，因材施教，发展特长，并把现代教学技术引入课堂，辅助教学，利用实物投影、反射幻灯、计算机、录音、录象、VCD等设备，从视觉、听觉等感官上充分调动学生的积极性，激发他们的求知欲。

该校学生有良好的学风，学习刻苦努力，积极进取，近年来高考升学率100%，其中80%左右的学生高考分数超过重点大学的调档线，并且每年都有多名学生考入清华、北大等著名大学。 学校课外活动、劳技课丰富多采，内容广泛，初、高中开设的劳技课有计算机、英文打字、手工制作、摄影、航模、编织、裁剪、烹饪等项目。课外活动有各学科小组，音乐、舞蹈、美术、体育等课外活动小组。学生通过劳技课与课外活动，既发展了兴趣、特长，又开阔了学习领域。十年来，我校学生在学科、科技、文艺、体育等方面有千人次在国际、全国、市、区获奖。仅2001年~2002年度，我校在全国中学生生物、化学、数学等学科联赛中取得了优异成绩，其中，获得金奖1人，铜奖1人，一等奖7人，二等奖7人，三等奖3人，并有多名同学保送到清华、北大、南开等著名学府。 学校国际学生部在开放的二十多年来，先后接纳了五大洲60多个国家和地区的1500余名学生。1994年，五十五中被国际文凭组织（IBO）批准为中国第一所国际文凭学校，并指定为亚太地区总部国际文凭中学项目的示范校。

早在1975年我校即被市政府指定为对外开放学校，1989年6月，五十五中学成立国际学生部，1994年9月，我校被国际文凭组织（IBO）批准为国际文凭会员校，在亚太地区成为该领域中的旗舰校。三十八年来已培养了三千多名来自世界五大洲六十多个国家与地区的国际学生。

张越（84届高中毕业生）

北京师范学院中文系毕业。现为中央电视台《半边天》节目主持人，编写过《我爱我家》、《临时家庭》、《电脑之家》、《候车大厅》等电视剧目。

王黎(90届高中毕业生)

保送中国人民大学新闻系。在新华通讯社国内新闻部工作，从事文化及政治报道。如：国际图联大会、97香港回归、第五届中国艺术节、98年抗洪救灾、99年北约袭击我驻南使馆事件以及人大、政协“两会”等。

潘琪（86届高中毕业生）

1986年毕业考入北京大学经济管理系（现为光华管理学院），1990年毕业后分配至中国民航，现任中国航空结算中心计划经营处副处长。

王艳平（87届高中毕业生）

在校期间担任学习委员，后考入北京中医药大学，现为医学博士。

唐庆涛（82届高中毕业生）

在校期间担任团支部组织委员，后考入北京对外贸易学院。现国家海关总署工作，任海关总署稽查处副处长。

冯兵兵（88届高中毕业生）

在校六年期间担任过少先队副大队长、团支部书记，考入中国科技大学，后到美国获得普度大学博士学位，在美国太平洋西北国家实验室做博士后研究。现为美国默克制药公司研究员。

王毅（80届高中毕业生）

在校期间品学兼优，是学生干部，校篮球队主力。80年以优异成绩考入北京大学英语系。后留校任教。87年又考入美国新墨西哥大学获教育管理硕士，90年又在美国国际管理研究生院获工商管理硕士。现是MOTOROLA电子有限公司人力资源部经理。

在中国人民大学新闻摄影系专科毕业。多次在市、区、全国获奖。现是北京市摄影家协会会员,在普光明文化传播有限公司担任艺术总监。他的作品入选旧金山国际摄影展，在全国人像摄影比赛中获二等奖。

朱光宇(87届初中，90届高中毕业生)

北京中医药大学（骨伤科研究所）教师。讲授《中医骨伤科基础》《中医外固定学》《中医骨伤科学》《中医正骨学》等课程。北京市高等教育精品教材建设项目北京市精品课程《中医正骨学》编委。北京中医药大学第三附属医院骨科专家。

Combining Chinese and Western Cultures to Cultivate International Talents

Founded in 1954, Beijing No. 55 High School is a city-level key school. Upon approval by Beijing Municipal Government, the school began to recruit children of foreign residents in Beijing in 1975 and established Beijing No. 55 High School International Students Department in 1989. Upon evaluation and approval by the International Diploma Organization, it became the first Chinese member of the organization in 1994.

In accordance with the specific characteristics of foreign students, the International Students Department provides comprehensive senior and junior high school courses.
