看了太多雷·温斯顿如《亚瑟王》中粗狂的发力，再尝新此部话剧般的“轻柔”作品，实在有一种别样味道，重要的是，温斯顿对细腻刻画的表现也是十分的精彩。从开始镜头下凌乱的房间，交待出主人公身上发生的事，也是引导剧情进一步向前走的重要牵引力。影片四个主要人物和一个被绑架的小情人儿都处在一个房间，自始至终，四个人表现出不同的人物性格，而小情人儿只字未言。这种功力型的表演更让人觉得过瘾，想《落水狗》中间大部分时间内的表演，这种方式还是很讨巧的。
