Rui visits his dying father at a Lisbon hospital. There, he meets a pregnant woman who survived a traffic accident in which her partner died. They may have met before but – Where? When? A man visits the house in which his father used to live. He walks all over, trying to seep in the absence, only mitigated by the dead man’s dog. A couple living in the countryside is expecting a child, nut one night the husband leaves home to never return. People surviving loss – men and women turned into automata by pain. Beings who all they strive for is a little peace
